Pathway Connect is an innovative approach that bridges the gap between High School and university and provides a path into higher education through BYU Idaho. Anyone wishing to obtain a degree that has not achieved the necessary High School result or adults returning to education can benefit from Pathway Connect.

Pathway Connect is also a path to greater spititual self-reliance. Students who attend Pathway Connect will experience the benefit of feeling God's love as the Holy Ghost becomes their learning companion. Who better to have as your learning coach than the Source of all knowledge?

BECOMING TEMPORALLY SELF RELIANT
Simply put, temporal self reliance is the ability, commitment, and effort to provide the necessities of life for self and family.
Temporal self reliance is an essential element in our spiritual as well as our temporal well-being. When we are temporally self reliant, we are in a better position to help others. It has been said that "salvation can be obtained on no other principle".
To become self reliant requires industry, education, training and action based on a solid foundation of the principles of self reliance.
COMMUNITY TRAINING
PLANNING AND PREPARATION
To be self reliant we must be prepared for emergencies. Emergency preparedness means having an emergency plan and sufficient means to survive in the event of a disaster. Food storage, emergency money, 72 hour kits, and practice will help ensure we are prepared for an emergency and able to help others, if needed.
